People will always tell you things will get better and they're probably right, but why aren't they okay now?
Why do we have to live in a world were people are hurt either physically or mentally for being who they are?
In a world with right and wrong, how can being gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender be wrong, yet being someone who hurts those people not be?
This matter is very close to my heart, for as long as I can remember I've had to witness bullying like this happen to two people who are also close to my heart, I've had to see them cry tears they should never have to, I've had to see them suppress who they are to get through each day with minimal damage and most heart breaking of all I've had to see them become disgusted with themselves without any just reason. I've had to witness this but I've also been someone whose cared enough to be their support, to at least try and put an end to their hurting. If you turn a blind eye to bullying, your just as bad as the person doing it. I want people to know this and show that they can be these peoples support everyday not just once a year on Spirit Day.
